The aim is for the whole household to care for the baby in one consistent way, not to catch anyone out or score anyone. The nurse tells everyone together what is already being done well and what could be adjusted.

Can DekNurse assess our nanny?
Yes. The nurse observes the real care at home, then talks it through with the family and the nanny together. This is an assessment with coaching — it is not a certificate of a person's quality.
Is it a pass-or-fail test?
No. Nobody is scored and no caregiver is judged as good or bad. What you get is a picture of how the care is going today and what the household can adjust together.
Does DekNurse find nannies for families?
No. This service works with the nanny or helper your family already has. If you would like a caregiver to be trained properly, there is a separate training service at home.
How should the nanny prepare?
No special preparation. It should be an ordinary day with the care done the way it is normally done — an ordinary day is what helps, not one arranged in advance.
